Grand Admiral Thrawn, was born with the name Kivu'raw'nuru before he was later known as mitt'raw'nurudo in his early military years. He is a Chiss officer of the Galactic Empire before he rose up the ranks to be the Grand Admiral. He is a brilliant war strategist who surprisingly has interest in philosophy, arts and culture, which helps him to understand the thinking of his enemy.
During a fierce battle on Lothal, his Star Destroyer Chimaera was pulled into the hyperspace by Ezra with the help of some space whale Purgils to the planet of Peridea where he remained exiled without means to return the near galaxy.
Years later, he has found means to communicate through The Great Mother nightsisters to reach out to Morgan Elsbeth for her to seek a way for his return.
