IG-12 with Grogu #720 (2024) (6 inch)
IG-12, was a repurposed droid created by a group of Anzellan droidsmiths from the parts of IG-11. The Anzellans made the droid to specifically fit Grogu to operate. It is only programmed to provide verbal reply of Yes and No answer only. IG-12 was eventually destroyed by Moff Gideon's forces during a mission to retake Mandalore. After the battle, IG-12 was again salvaged to create IG-11 Marshall.
Grogu, known originally as 'The Child' is a force-sensitive foundling who is from the same species as Grand Master Yoda. After surviving the massacre of foundlings during the seige of the Jedi Temple, he has been sought after by Moff Gideon for years. Din Djarin, a Mandalorian who was hired to retrieve him became bonded with him and found a mission to deliver him to the Jedi. Grogu was eventually handed over to Luke Skywalker.
