Jet trooper, or names in various form such as jetpack trooper or jump trooper are specialised troopers in Galactic Empire. These stormtroopers are equipped with jetpacks that allow them temporary flight or minor 'jump' which enable minor tactical advantage in combat.

The use of these combatant units were more visible in the Star Wars games universe, until the the appearance of Sith Jet Troopers in the Rise of Skywalker.
