Din Djarin, known originally as 'Mando' started as a foundling of Children of the Watch, a breakaway group from the Mandalorian society. Din made his reputation in the Galactic Empire as member of the Bounty Hunter's Guild, collecting bounties to rebuild his armor and future foundlings. It was during one of his bounties that he met his foundling Grogu, whom he was reluctant to execute.
