Qui-Gon Jinn (Tatooine) #422 Amazon Exclusive (2021)
Qui-Gon Jinn is a Jedi Master and member of the Jedi Order. Qui-Gon discovers Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine and becomes convinced that the boy is the Chosen One destined to bring balance to the Force. Despite the Council’s skepticism, he insists on training Anakin as a Jedi, believing strongly in the prophecy. Qui-Gon also serves as mentor to his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, teaching him patience and independence, even though their approaches sometimes differ.
Qui-Gon meets his end during a duel with the Sith Lord Darth Maul on Naboo. Mortally wounded, he entrusts Anakin’s training to Obi-Wan, setting into motion the events that shape the Skywalker saga.
