Clone Trooper, or "Republic Troopers or Soldiers" were trained soldiers of the Grand Army of the Republic. These clones were developed or grown from the Cloning Facility in Kamino, were designed to be the superior and efficient replacement to Battle Droids. These clone troopers continued to serve the early years of the Galactic Empire after Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader as Imperial Stormtroopers. They were gradually replaced by human recruits and conscripts after the closure of the cloning facility.

442nd Siege Battalion, was the clone trooper battalion involved in the battle against the seperatist forces on Cato Neimoidia. This battalion were responsible to execute Order 66 onto Jedi General Plo Koon.
