Stormtrooper, or nicknamed 'Bucketheads' were replacements to the expensive Clone Troopers. The Empire no longer need to pay for cost of cloning to Kaminoans, but instead rely of natural-born, paid human army.
Mudtrooper, or nicknamed 'Swamp trooper' are troopers equipped with armor suitable for swampy and trenches battles. The troopers were first seen in Mimban Campaign in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
